Gundro

For apartments & HOAs

Split shared charging costs using actual usage.

Use each resident’s charging record to calculate their share of the electricity cost at the end of the month.

How Gundro helps

Residents need a simple way to access the charger, while the property manager needs a fair way to divide the electricity cost.

Give residents access

Share a private invitation and choose whether residents need approval before they can charge.

Record each charge

Each session records the energy used, charging time, and estimated electricity cost automatically.

Divide costs fairly

Set an electricity rate and use the charging records to calculate each resident’s share.

How payments work

When you set a rate, Gundro calculates each resident’s estimated share from their charging record and lets the property team track its payment status. Payment happens directly between the resident and the property or HOA. Gundro does not process payments or hold funds.

Common questions

Can we divide shared charging costs without installing a meter per resident?

Yes. Each session is attributed to the resident who charged and records the energy delivered, so the split comes from the charging records rather than from separate sub-meters.

How do residents get access to the charger?

You share a private invitation, and you can choose whether a resident needs approval before charging. Access can be withdrawn when someone moves out.

Does Gundro collect money from residents?

No. Gundro calculates each resident’s share from the charging record and tracks whether it has been paid. Payment happens directly between the resident and the property or HOA. Gundro does not process payments or hold funds.

What does the building's charger need to support?

OCPP, an internet connection, and a configurable OCPP server address. The OCPP setup guide explains how to confirm this before you commit to an installation.
